Raresole – Terms of Service

Welcome to Raresole, a discovery marketplace that helps users find unique products from local sellers and empowers businesses with interaction insights. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following terms.

1. Overview

Raresole provides:

• Users with a platform to explore rare and local products.
• Businesses with insights based on customer interest and behavior, not guaranteed sales.

We act solely as a connector, not as a seller or transactional platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Creation

You may use Raresole only if you:

• Are at least 13 years old (parental consent required under 18).
• Register with a valid email and password.
• Provide true and accurate information.

Accounts may be suspended or terminated if false information is provided or terms are violated.

3. Data Privacy & Consent

We take privacy seriously and comply with data laws including the Indian DPDP Act, GDPR, and CCPA where applicable.

• We only collect user interaction data (like viewed products, clicks, category interests), not sensitive personal info.
• Explicit consent is obtained before collecting or sharing user data.
• Shared data is intent-based only and includes only opted-in users.
• We are not responsible for how businesses handle the data after transfer. However:
• ❗ If misuse is reported or detected, the business account will be immediately deleted, with no refund.

4. Nature of Data Shared with Businesses

Raresole does not promise sales, conversions, or ROI.

We provide "Pay Per Interaction" services. Businesses pay for access to:

• Anonymized or contact-level insights
• User behavior indicators (interests, views, intent)

Businesses must agree in writing that:

• They understand Raresole does not guarantee conversions
• Data is not for resale or unrelated product promotion

5. Content Usage & Copyright

All product images, brand names, and promotional content used by Raresole must be authorized by the business.

When onboarding, each seller/business must:

• Agree to our Content Usage Agreement
• Provide written permission for any media used

Any violation of copyright or intellectual property will result in removal and possible legal escalation.

6. Business Responsibility & Liability

⚠️ Raresole is not involved in actual product transactions between users and businesses.

Businesses are fully responsible for:

• Product descriptions, quality, delivery, and returns
• Customer complaints or refunds
• Fulfillment, packaging, and after-sales service

Raresole is not liable for disputes, damages, or miscommunication resulting from these interactions.

7. Business Conduct & Data Usage Rules

Business users must not:

• Use customer data for external promotional campaigns or unrelated products
• Sell or share user data with third parties
• Misrepresent products or intentions

Any breach will lead to account termination and possible legal follow-up.

8. Payments, Fees, and Invoicing

Raresole may charge businesses for:

• Lead/interactions access
• Product promotion
• Analytics or dashboard tools

9. Intellectual Property (Platform)

Raresole owns all platform code, branding, and layout.

Businesses own their product content but grant Raresole a non-exclusive license to use it for listings and promotions.

10. Termination & Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate your account:

• If you violate these terms
• If customer data is misused
• For any illegal, abusive, or misleading conduct

Termination may happen without prior notice in serious cases.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of major updates via email or platform alerts. Continued use implies acceptance.
